The performance piece THE WHITE HOUR meditates on loss, grief and love. The artists explore the transformations from darkness to light happening in moments that a person experiences facing death, whereby the ego and its shadows of fear and guilt can be dissolved. What is left is a silence, that becomes palpable and occupies the entire space. Also incidents and movements in the world that cast shadows into society strive for a new beginning and for creating a light illuminating collective and personal shadows.
featuring Friederike Linssen & Hassen Oneizan, BirdMoon enter an artistic conversation via music, painting, writing, and interactive audio Midi-driven visuals and lighting effects. discussing issues such as freedom, escape, grief, dreams, migration, as well as clarity, kindness, and harmony, none of which can exist without chaos and passion. Compositions with improvisational freedom encounter poetry, color games, videos and migratory birds, linking the continents of the earth through their flights together.
A meditation on freedom, loss and grief The artistic duo BirdMoon invite artists Aude Gouaux Langlois, Nadine Milzner, Natasha Jaffe and Michael Haeflinger to join an artistic interdisciplinary performance. Out of the Dark explores the desire to escape from darkness, both physical and mental, and its propensity to linger and echo into the light as repetition or distortion of memory. Within these loose parameters, the artists work to create clarity out of chaos, harmony out of passion and create light within the dark.
